Digital Learning: Putting Children in the Digital Driving Seat

We want our children in the Digital Driving Seat, equipped with the knowledge, skills, confidence and character to navigate, thrive in and shape an increasingly digital world.

At The Park Federation, our vision is to use digital technology purposefully to transform teaching, enrich learning and empower every child to achieve their full potential.

We believe that pedagogy must drive technology, not the other way around. Through an evidence-informed approach, we will use digital innovation to develop children's creativity, communication, collaboration, critical thinking and independence, while ensuring that technology enhances rather than replaces meaningful human interaction and experiences.

Inclusion and equity are at the heart of our ambition. We will use technology to remove barriers to learning, provide exceptional support for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, and ensure that every child, regardless of background or ability, has the opportunity to succeed.

We will invest in our people, developing confident, skilled and forward-thinking educators and digital leaders who use technology and artificial intelligence effectively, ethically and responsibly. Through strong partnerships, shared expertise, high-quality infrastructure, robust online safety and a commitment to recognised standards of excellence, we will build a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement across every academy.

Above all, we want our children to be safe, discerning and responsible digital citizens who are not simply consumers of technology, but confident creators, critical thinkers and active participants in shaping their own futures.

Our ambition is not simply to prepare children for a digital world, but to give them the knowledge, skills, confidence and character to help shape it for the better.
