The Park Federation Academy Councils

Academy Councils

Each federation academy has an Academy Council made up of nine governors. The Academy Council is made up of three community governors, three parent governors, two staff governors and the principal. Parent Governors are elected by the parent body of the academy. Staff Governors are elected by the staff members of the academy.

Community Governors are appointed by the Academy Council

The Principal is appointed as a governor by virtue of their position in the academy.

Terms of office are four years for all categories of governor, apart from the Principal whose term is the entirety of their tenure.
